Abramson's lordly ways

How about keeping the rate at 30/60, and saying that Officers can only drive them to and from work, or to and from court. The 60.00 would come in to play if you worked off duty. This would save money (mileage, gas), but the citizens of Louisville would still see the benefits of having the cars on the road, and in the neighborhoods. I am going to go out on a limb, and say that the problem with this would be that it only saves money, and does not make money. I'm sorry. What was I thinking?
