Abramson's lordly ways |
RE: Abramson's lordly ways
The best defense is a good offense and right now Abramson is on the offensive. He's got the media focused on an unverifiable budget crisis, the city workers trying to keep the benefits, perks and wages their accustomed to and the taxpayers worrying about the sky falling. Taking the spot light off of his exploits, shady deals and outright malfeasance is just the way he likes it. It's time to catch our breath, get our balance back and do the deep investigating that it's going to take to show this Mayor he can't do anything he damn well pleases.

The FBI has a Public Corruption Unit. They just took out the mayor of Birmingham, a New Jersey mayor and the Governor of Illinois. Give them a call.

RE: Abramson's lordly ways
Metro Council has written a letter to Conway asking him for his OPINION on several of Abramson's deals, but whatever the AG determines is not enforceable. Lot of good that's going to do.
Metro Council; "Dear Attorney General, is our Mayor being a crook or not?"
Attorney General; "Yes, he is. Have a nice day."

KSP could, but I don't see them doing it.
