I would be happy to pay for gas and my neighbors would be happy too. I do not drive my car very often when I am off. BUT.... If I am driving that car on my way home and paying for the gas, why should I have to stop for anyone in need of help? This is the whole reason for the take home car program, they get free man hours. THIS SHOULD NOT BE A DEBATE.... it is a no brainer. U R paying money to work..... Jobs are supposed to pay you money to work. The Mayors concept seems odd.
