FOP meeting with mayor a big disappointment

Yep the cars should be visible! I don't have a garage so mine sits right out in the open. However it is not a marked unit and I am sorry for that! When I did have a marked one, I had several people stop at my driveway and ask directions, tell me about accidents on our road and ask me about crime in our area. I haven't seen anyone since they gave me an unmarked! Call me lucky but I don't think so! I like being a police officer and proud of what I do. I think the "police officer next door" program would be great for the new guys with no families....and they would probably jump all over the opportunity to get a discounted mortgage! They don't make much money anyway when they first start this job and it takes forever to get a raise........WAIT.........we hardly get any kind of a raise (for the last 5 yrs anyway)!
