He is also lying about the incentive money costing 1 million. Had this issue been settled at the negotiating table years ago as it was proposed then it wouldn't be an issue now. He forgets that HE agreed to pay the overtime and include the incentive pay in the first place. When years ago he found out about it and told LFD to go pound sand they grieved the issue, he could have fixed it and been done with it but HE DID NOTHING ABOUT IT it went to an arbitrator who rule against him HE DID NOTHING ABOUT IT it went to circuit court and the judge ruled against him HE DID NOTHING ABOUT IT when it went to the court of appeals and lost yet again guees what? HE DID NOTHING ABOUT IT. Finally it was taken up by the LY Supreme court and they ruled against him. I know this will come as a shock...HE DID NOTHING ABOUT IT. In fact he has been told time and time again that he needed to fix this issue, he has been told time and time again how to fix this issue but HE HAS DONE NOTHING ABOUT IT.

Now he has done the one thing that could hurt the men and women of LFD. It isn't a solution it is retaliation. His lack of doing anything has cost this city millions and the way he gets around it its to be vindictive against the people that stood up to him time and time again when he was wrong.

Abramson acts like this issue like all the public service ones are the one responsible for the city being broke. #1 we don't know if he is lying or telling the truth(for once) he won't let anyone see the books. He won't let the Council see the books. He won't let an indepent group see the books. WHY? I don't know, maybe because he is a lying crook? He is hiding something and doesn't want anyone to see it. Obviously Jane Driscoll didn't want to cover for him anymore because she quit. Kudos to Jane. Sometimes you must make a stand. She was making a damn good salary too.
