I do not work for LMPD but am a registered member of this forum. I am a Fire Capt and everyone I work with is 100% behind the PD. We work side by side on a daily basis, and for the 16 years I have been here, I have never seen such bold faced lies by the mayor and his staff. The thought of layoffs over using money from the "rainy day fund" is absolutely nothing short of selfish. This is NOT your city Mayor; it is OUR city.
