FOP meeting with mayor a big disappointment |
RE: FOP meeting with mayor a big disappointment
I was told two of his financial advisers have quit not just one.
Kinda seems like the rats are abandoning ship before it goes under.
Something is wrong here. WHERE IS THE MEDIA ! ! ! !

Yes it does stink. I think the "MAYOR FOR LIFE" is hiding something. And an investigation will turn it up, and he is afraid of that. That's why he don't want an outside agency to look into it.
A concerned tax payer.

At what point are we going to to demand the Major's resignation? I would run for Major with a police officers salary. I have no political background other than a few college courses, but I do understand fiscal responsibility. Oh yea, and I am a cop.

Hello everyone,
I want to let all of you know a couple of things. My brother sent an e-mail to Jerry Abramson and he got an automated reply that stated the mayor has received the e-mail and then it listed all the budget cuts that were printed in the paper.
I sent an e-mail to my councilman Marianne Butler and I specifically asked if we were so short of money why can't the the government take back the 20 or so million that was just handed out. I received a reply of how bad the economy is and people losing their homes, etc... BS stuff. It seems that when anyone mentions that 20 million or so dollars it is completely ignored.
If we want something done we are going to have to get a federal investigator in here to investigate the mayor and the council. No ifs, ands, or buts!!!

I am not in law inforcement in any and neither is a family
member. I do, however, have a question. Is the great and
wonderful Mayor or any of his staff willing to take a 2% pay cut as
well? Bet not. I think it very wrong to want under paid,
over worked, and mostly under appreciated law and fire workers to take
what he himself will not.
