FOP Members Vote No To City's Proposals

It is obviously way beyond saving money. Even the news stations have picked up on that aspect of it. Everyone knows that the take home car program saves the city a ton of money and that it helps reduce crime and that we help people on our own time and don't charge Metro Government for it, yet this mayor wants us to foot the bill for one of the only programs in government that saves him money by the very people who are making it work. It is INSANE!

Abramson screwed the budget up and now he expects everyone else to foot the bill. COuld it possibly be that some of this shortfall has to do with him having spending in the budget when he didn't get his library tax last year? Was the budget never adjusted when that tax fell flat on his face?
