This morning employees of LMEMS meet with Teamsters L783 (our current bargaining unit) to discuss what was going to be asked of us throughout this budget shortfall. We were informed that we are being given the same options as Corrections, 2% and 3 furloughs. Members of LMEMS have agreed to vote NO to these proposals and stand united with LMPD, LMCD, and LFR.
