Actually that would make the statement true then. It may not have been intentionally done but the fact is the command staff of the second division did pass out the informatin and they did ask Officers to circle their choice after they looked at it and decided which plan was best for them personally. The fact of the matter is that the FOP is the ONLY recognized bargaining agent for LMPD and that any attempt to make an agreement outside of our contract without the Lodge's consent does violate the contract.
In essence while her heart may have been in the right place she should have realized that what she was doing was wrong. Kudos to her and each Major that showed up at roll calls and explained in detail what was going on. This was too important an issue to be left to an e-mail.
