Well said. The enemy in Iraq is also hoping we weaken. Unfortunatly I see a parallel between Islamic terrorists and the City of Louisville.

RE: FOP Members Vote No To City's Proposals
You are correct it was very impressive and shows that every member is getting tired of continuosly giving to this irresponsible Mayor and we are no longer going to put up with his BS spending. I have never known of any relationship that is one sided, take, take, take, take- to work. This is the relationship that the Mayor has had with the police and other of public safety- fire and ems included. We are all just TIRED.... We are together in our fight to provide the safety that should be an essential component of life for the citizens of Louisville. We can no longer accept these cuts that take away from our ability to protect the public and serve our community. That is why I took this job, to protect and serve. If I am riding by a school and do not have the ability to hear that there is an active shooter inside, then I do not have the ability to protect our children. I will not agree to this, ever......
The thought of parking our cars at Light up over Louisville and lighting up the city for the Mayor is funny in thought, but definitely not going to happen. We are way above the Mayor's childish ways and any thing other than parking them at the stations we work would inconvenience the citizens for which we serve. Therefore there is no worry about the sarcasm and joking stated, we are professional and will always do the right thing.
