Oh and the Policy thing I mentioned earlier, Col. Turner and ones like him use that to cover thier a@* not ours in those situations. Basically saying we can be fired for vilolating policy. And we have to do it every day to help people. Does your job involve that? I'm not asking for your sympathy, support, prayers, or anything else for that matter . Just leave us alone because you don't have a very good idea what you are talking about.

If you were speeding, and didn't have lights/siren going, you were in violation of state law. There is no excuse for that. Yes, when you get close, you turn them off, but until then, you RUN HOT. And when they go off, you slow down. The alternative is not worth it. Doing any different makes us no better than other lawbreakers. The policy does not say, speed, but don't turn on lights and siren, for a good reason - it is dangerous and illegal.
