Tell him good bye. So far he has only been a distraction from the reason we are here.

He is wanting to debate things that have been talked about for a long time.

Sir, you need a hobby other than the police (or maybe you think you don't ) but there are issues here you do not take into account.

And one more thing the difference on being the police:

I have never heard of a truck driver committing suicide because they had a flat or they did not make thier shipment in time. That is one big difference.

You are not expected to understand, ok. It's not a high and mighty thing, just things you are not aware of.

One little comment on Police speeding before I go. We are not always speeding for the heck of it. I made a run on a burgular alarm one time got to the house and the door was open, when I went to get out of the car this person pulled up beside me wanting to know why I was speeding, keep in mind I have a open door on a house, tell me what do you think is going on in that house? is there someone in there ?are they armed? so here I am being asked by an all knowing person what the h*ll I'm think I'm doing , and he doesent even realize he is putting us both in danger.

Long story short, We the Police by Policy( I am assuming you know what that entailes ) are not allowed to go lights and siren to a simple burgular alarm. So we have to hurry as much as we can to get done what we need to. Because most of us have been on these "simple runs" and found a burgulary in progress,AND a teenage girl is hiding under the bed because she was home sick from school when this criminal kicked the door in , or my personal favorite(it happened to me) the homeowners face down on the floor with a gun to the back of thier heads. It does not happen every day but we have to treat everyone like it is because of we dont and it is the real thing ,someone will get hurt and personally I will feel responsible.

Mr. Truck Driver,( I understand you are probably are not getting this, but Im gonna try) as hopefully you can see several times a day we The Police have to make decisions between the good of the people we are responsible for (The Public) Our Families , Lt.Col. Turner, and people like you. It is not a perfect world everybody knows it. Yes there are cops that speed when they dont have to. I know of absolutely no subject that things could not be better but hey thats life.

Turner's ex-wife needs a GPS...then maybe he won't break her arm again.
