Enough is Enough!

I see the point and this is what I already do anyway. But it still takes away from the extra cars rolling around making it look like there are more of us than there really are, and I don't have to tell you all this, but most of the first cars on scene at Fern Creek were officers that were off and happened to be in their police cars. Our childrens safety alone should be enough for the Mayor to realize this is a bad idea. I was just leaving my house to go to work and instead went straight there, our Mayor is just a idiot that cares only about himself, and is he going to sign that this ends in July like his 10% decrease.

And as far as enforcing this or a trust issue, if you see a guy in a t-shirt driving his car he could be going to in-service so you would never know unless wife and kids were in there too. BUT... the chief could always put W.Brown on those cases, I hear he likes em and even gets excited by them.

Well, this came up with my conversation with Col Turner as well, and it is not that expensive of an option, would serve to help scene coordination, if officers had gps units, like truckers have, installed in their radios. It would instantly rule out malicious complaints against cops, or verify legitimate ones, it would help to lead assistance to an officer, if for instance, chasing a suspect through a large wooded area, either is overpowered by a criminal and unable to relay location, or trips and falls and is unable to respond to other officers.

Again, according to Col Turner, the officers lobbying agency, union for all intensive purposes opposes this because it can be used to enforce the laws upon them. I wonder how that vote would go among the rank and file footsoldiers?

This technology is already in use with military units.
