Cry me a river. You dont EARN the right to break the law, PERIOD.

Thankless jobs? Who REALLY works a thanked job? maybe doctors, sometimes lawyers? When is the last time YOU thanked the 3rd shift waitress at Dennys for putting up with you and your drunk friends? I dont mean tipped, i mean actually thanked?

Please dont whine to me about lousy home lives, when I have gone over a month at a time without seeing mine. Im not even near one of the worst cases, there are many people who frequently go to work knowing that it means they will miss their children grow up, but you know what, it wasnt a mystery about the job they found out afterwards, so they deal with it.

Heroes? such crap, heroes are defined by the persons actions, NOT by the occupations. According to you even cops that go to jail for abusing their position are still heroes simply because they wore the uniform.

You have the basest of all ignorancy in your post, and it shows clearly.

By the way, if cops have earned the right to break the law, where does that stop? What laws can they NOT break? Who else gets to break the law? Are there NO other honorable occupations? How long does a cop have to be on the job before they earn the right to break the law?
