Enough is Enough!

Would not matter what any said to u

You are again a ungrateful citizen which obviously does not like the police. That is ok though because there are many just like you and everyone is entitled to there opinion. I knew this when I took the job. If I wanted a job where I could make almost everyone happy and be appreciated, I would deliver flowers and balloons for a flower shop. If you want a job that you can earn vacation days and have benefits, work for one. You will always bash the police. We could work for minimum wage, have no benefits or vacation days, and you would still complain that we can speed on the interstate so we should be happy. Nothing anyone says will change your mind or opinion on the police, yet you will be the first to call when you need help. Enough said....

I'm sure that when you go to work you don't have to put on a vest that is designed to stop BULLETS, nor are you required to carry a gun in case you need to defend yourself or an innocent citizen, and i'm sure your family doesn't have to worry about when you leave for work, you may not come home.

I've been to Burger King-people that work there don't have to do that.

Mr. Concerned Citizen,

The biggest point you fail to realize is that we dont hold a normal job like you or the rest of the community. WE PROTECT YOU and YOUR FAMILY 24/7. Every time we put on that uniform, we DO become heroes, running INTO situations most people like you run FROM. I believe that calls for a bit more respect and benefits than a secretary or cashier deserves.
