On Monday the FOP President needs to tell the media that there will be a huge RIPPLE affect if the take home car program changes. Yes there are many cities with out take home cars but NONE the size of LOUISVILLE that has the LOW LOW crime rate that Louisville does. The Mayor can kiss bye bye to the SAFEST CITIES list ever again. I'm a Detective and while on duty I back up 1 officer or cancel both Officers on many many calls. I will no longer check out a pool car just to make runs in the divisions.
