Enough is Enough!

Funny but true...

This adminsitration has been using these cars as a bargaining tool for too long....it's got to stop NOW! We didn't have take home cars in my old department, and guess what...we manged without them. Let the city figure out where they're going to park 1000 + cars (our parking lot can fit about 35 tops...) Let them figure out what to do about arbitrators / MDT's / Ileads...Let them figure out what to do when some crazy swat call out comes out, and it takes the swat team three times longer to respond...same goes for traffic / k9 / HNT,bomb squad or anyone else on call....No more picking up runs in route to roll call...I'll take the $1900 a year they want me to pay for my car and put towards a nice vacation (inclusive of the three v days that I sure as heck won't be giving up...)

Our police cars are our office....but you wouldn't see jerry telling the likes of metro HR, for example that they have to start paying $75.00 a pay for the priviledge of having an office, with a desk and a PC to work at, and if they don't want to cough up the money, then they can just scrounge around for a piece of cr*p desk and pc when they come to work every day...

Everyone needs to show up to the meeting on Monday, we need to make a unanimous decision to park these cars and end this BS once and for all....he wants to play games...well lets f*cking play.....
