I have been a police officer here for 19 years and for 19 years the mayor has been holding the cars over our heads. We have taken pay cuts to keep the cars in the form of horrible pay raises or no pay raise, (remember a few years ago going without a raise to help the budget), and horrible working conditions (no backup and to few officers to safely make runs. How many domestics have you made on your own?) resulting in alot of officers having to work two jobs to keep thier famlies feed and clothed.
