Complete a sentence and it might be worth responding to your post! If you can complete a sentence, how about posting your address, we'll make sure NOT to respond when you call crying for the police for your out of control 8 year old!

You idiot - taking away the cars doesn't save the city any money - most of the officers who use them for personal use don't use that much gas away - so really a mute point, where is the city going to park all of these cars, the city will still have to pay for gas for the cars when officers are on patrol or official business.

The reason everyone is upset is because the officers know this - the city will not save money but the city's only hope is the officers agree to pay for the cars and the city will make money - get it??????? If the officers pay for their take home cars (according the plans outlined) - then the city will make anywhere between $1.4 million and $3.0 million - and that money will come directly out of the paychecks of a group of men and women who make on average $40,000 p/year.

I will assume by your ridiculous comment you are not an officer - remember your comment the next time you or your family is in need of help - and you get angry it takes so long for someone to get there - people like you want it both ways - so sad

I bet my total overtime is three times higher this year...... Thank you for the pay increase.

1. Extra time to take the vehicle back to the station and turn it in every night I get a late run (est $100 a month).

2. Details... I will have to go to a station to pick up a vehicle to drive to a detail and return it to the station 1hr overtime.

3. Officers on late watch not picking up runs on way in to station will add even more overtime for me.

I see this as a nice pay increase.

So sorry u couldn't pass the test !!!

Eric, is that you, the cadet that I got hired with that couldn't pass the physical? I'm sorry you didn't make it, but no need to be hateful about it. You just weren't cut out for this job. If it isn't you Eric, then it is probably someone else that is mad because they couldn't get past the many testing procedures to become one of Louisville's finest that continually gets screwed by the Mayor. Really it's going to be OK, I truly think that someday Dairy Queen will also have a take home grill program in case you come across someone on the way home that needs a burger, but the Mayor will be charging you a fee to take that grill home also. Take care Eric, at least you tried.
