REMEMBER PETER is absolutely right! It AMAZES me that no one ever makes an issue out of how short handed we were that night. Maybe it wouldn't have saved his life, but it certainly wouldn't have hurt to have more officers nearby when the run came out. Not that it's unusual for any platoon to be short these days.....
