That would be hard-core, some of these guys gave up other jobs to take this position. A couple of these guys are actually already certified officers, at least three had already been working in Metro Louisville, and gave up those jobs to come to LMPD. If we don't hire, and we keep losing people, then what? Oh, gosh, maybe some of those folks in cushy desk jobs might have to actually go back out on the street!
