I have heard rumors that the mayor might try to lay off some officers who have the least seniorty. Possibily tell the recruits going through the academy sorry but your services are no longer needed because the city is going bankrupt. I have also heard a possible hiring freeze. No new hires for a couple of years.

good idea to show where the $$$ is. How about starting with the mayor's rainy day fund. It is in the ballpark of 15 to 20 milion. Maybe someone should tell the mayor it is raining in Louisville and it is only going to get worse. I am not going to pay any more $$ for the use of his vehicle. He can take it and shove it up his A$$.
