Abramson tries to cancel Officer's Health Insurance...AGAIN!

Jerry cannot stop you from this by not wanting something. Judge Perry agreed with the FOP that the City has to honor its contract. Just because one of his cronies sends out an e-mail doesn't mean squat. We fought this before and won. It is the same battle as before and nothing has changed. We have a contract and they have to abide by it.

The e-mail falsely implies that you won't be able to get any benefits at all for 2009 until the Judge lifts the order. You can enroll in a health plan outside of open season if your existing health benefits are terminated for any reason. The order doesn't change that.
