If the media brought facts such as those to the public it would discredit most of the stories they publish or put on the news. Because most people would not be interested if there were circumstances that would explain why the top news stories happened in the first place. (Who cares if drug dealers try to kill each other........or Why would they be investigating an officer for shooting and armed drug dealer.)
