Guys, she wasn't trained to communicate by touch tone - that was quite creative and Chambers deserves kudos. I know there was a recent incident out in the 6th where the call-taker was communicating with a guy lost in the woods (he'd run there to excape getting caught for a DV) - she did a great job both of communicating with him AND keeping us apprised of what he was saying - she was literally transcribing as she talked to him.

And remember, there are dispatchers and call-takers, they aren't the same people. If you get bad information, are you reporting it, or just shrugging it off. In the example you gave, are you sure that the system showed there was a warrant? Maybe it hadn't been entered yet - and that isn't the fault of dispatch, its the circuit court clerks job to enter it.

(And no, I'm not a dispatcher nor do I play one on TV ....)
