Police investigating break-in at Louis Coleman's office

So it's our fault they weren't secured in the first place? And he had collected an "undetermined number?" Seems to me if you're going to do that you might want to record serial numbers, makes, and models just incase something like this were to occur. In my opinion it was poor planning on behalf of the Justice Resource Center.

The man's dead, take the high road and leave him alone. Anyway, from what the news reported, he was working with the ATF and did give them a list.

It made my day to hear this SOB was dead. It has been great in the past year Ann bradon died and now Coleman. Now if Maddie Jones dies it will be a great year.

Louis Coleman was a RACIST. He hated white people, plain and simple.

However, I am a big believer that you should not speak ill of the dead. I will not dance on his grave, or any other horrible acts of disrespect. Let's allow for his family to grieve, and forget about his misdeeds for a while.

On the first day of jury selection for McKenzie Mattingly's trial Coleman was protesting out in front of the courthouse where potential jurors were lined up waiting to get inside. Coleman was asked by the media, on camera, if he was trying to influence or intimidate any of Mattingly's potential jurors. He said that he most certainly was. This, of course, is a class D felony. A complaint was called into Dave Stengel's officerbut they did nothing. They even got mad at the complainant when he went to the media cause he felt Stengel was too scared wasn't going to take action. Guess someone counseled ole' Coleman cause he wasn't out there anymore. What a joke our commonweatlth atty is what a "race baiter" Coleman was!

$67,637 from Jefferson County Public Schools where Coleman is employed as a home school coordinator. This is twice what other home school coordinators were paid and he never set foot in an office or filed any reports. What a criminal!

Lewis Coleman is a thief. He did some time in prison for robbery when he was younger. I guess in his older age he learned how to steal from people without sticking a gun in their face. He has extorted money from just about every major company in the Louisville area. He blackmails them to give him money not to protest because they don't have enough minorities, which we all know is BS. So good ridance I say!!!!!!!!!!

The reason Mattie Jones takes every opportunity to slam the police is because her son was on JCPD years ago and was fired for criminal activity. She has never forgiven the police for canning the crook and she never will; but, in the long run, who cares? Her racist bias is obvious and and most people see thru her type.

I had several dealings with Louis over the years. I thought he was ignorant and the only bandwagon he rode was racism. He had some ideas to improve the black community but he never could be taken seriously because of his behaviorisms that got him into trouble eraly on in his life.

He was a champion of justice, but only if it wore a black face. Every time a white Officer shot a black man he screamed racism. Whenever the shooting was black on black or black on white he never made a peep.

He stood for some good things like getting drug dealers off the streets, yet his own son is serving a second stint in prison over trafficking in cocaine. He put everyone else's business on the news but refused to answer questions about his own failures with his son.

Lewis was always thumping his chest and trying to get people to listen to him about how horrible the Police treated the black community. Do you know what? Policing doesn't have a color. Laws are indescriminant tothe color of your skin. Look at the murder rate every year! It is generally black on black crime.

He did try and get some guns off the street. Every gun was a success. LMPD has done gun buy back programs and they too collected some good guns and some useless junk. He consistently ffailed to notify Law Enforcement in case the weapons confiscated were those used in other crimes. This is obviously an inside job from someone at JRC that knew they kept those guns on the premises.

Lastly I would like to say that I am tired of all the eulogising that has been going on in the CJ. They created the monster by allowing him unlimited interviews and providing him and outlet for his moronic chantings. The days of protests are over and he couldn't give it up. He made money by scamming local businesses including JCPS by getting hired as a consultant in minority affairs and other bogus titles just so he wouldn't protest outside their company.

Rest in peace Lewis. I will always remember you fondly as the buffoon with the bullhorn that rarely accomplished anything. I will always remember the time I stopped you for speeding and how you cursed my partner and I out and ranted and raved when we asked if you had been drinking and your redponse was; "I don't drink, I'm a G0damned reverand!" Our case never made it to the supreme court like you threatend us that it would, I believe you paid it the next week.

I don't believe in the supersticion "Don't speak ill of the dead'" I believe that Lewis would have felt the same. He would have villified the dead in order to make his point. Let's not forget that Lewis stood for Lewis and his gang of followers and what they could get out of it.

And had they TAKEN the guns, they probably would have complained that the LMPD was just trying to "check up on them." Maybe if they'd secured the weapons better in the first place, this wouldn't have happened, or even better, IMMEDIATELY TURNED THE GUNS OVER TO LMPD. Oh, but then, they would get run, and maybe it would be discovered that half of them were stolen in the first place. Can we spell "receiving stolen property?" If these folks were gun dealers - they are buying guns after all - they'd have been locked up a long time ago for this silliness.

This p.o.s. should forever be known for doing 3 things.......help divide the small town of Louisville, keep "unlicensed pharmacists" on the street and help get a great dope cop fired.

I worked many protests that Coleman had. He would call the officers every racist term he could think of. He would have someone check out a certain sergeant's sick aunt from the nursing home (she was the elderly white woman in the wheel chair) He would push her to the front of his protest. We would have to call the sergeant to come get his aunt. Half of the 15 people at these rallies were from Cinn. Ohio. He helped them with their protests and vice versa.

I have been cussed, called various racist names and he even threatened to kill me at one of these rallies. (before the news got there of course). The world is a better place without him. To hear these spineless politicians praise him now is enraging. Sorry if my comments make you mad because the man is dead...but the truth is the truth.

Louis Coleman was nothing but a divider of this city. He was on multiple payrolls to keep him from protesting at those businesses. He used race to make himself rich and stir up the pot. Of course the media here loved to cover him and his ignorance. The courier journal loved him and removed all post from their website because most people were blogging the truth about him. Coleman was an idiot with a severely bad hygiene and obesity problem. This city is a better place now. I know people will be angry with this post but too bad. The truth is the truth...he was a crook and an extortionist. How many companies are going to save money now that he is off the payroll. Of course Colemanville will probably now me Maddyville. I wonder how long it will be until Abramson names some street after him?
