I have a tough time believing that Downard, who was supposed to be such a big supporter of the emergency service people in this city did not realize that we were not getting paid what we were due. Aren't the firefighters still due a bunch of overtime pay that the mayor is still fighting? And did anyone really expect the media to make a fuss on our behalf against the mayor?
