RE: Police, commander sued by sergeant, officer
You know, that message just indicates why the agency can't get ahead. Have your opinions about Harper - but none of us really know what happened except the folks involved. And despite the quickie investigation - we still don't know. A lawsuit WILL reveal it, and I hope the individuals involved take it all the way to the mat - and once it is settled, and we know, the city WILL settle, they don't sign any confidentiality agreements and they post allthe discovery in the case. Let's see copies of the documents that show the text messages. Just because they were deleted from the phone doesn't mean they don't have records - I know I can get a copy of every text messages my kids send and receive from their phones (and they know it too). If Harper claims she sent messages back, let's see those too - and ask him what he did to get her to stop doing it, also. Did he even bother to tell the bosses that he probably shouldn't be in that division, in his ex-wife's direct chain of command? Didn't he have some responsibility to do that?
