Louisville police settle harassment claims by 2 officers

OK, I have not idea of what occured but I do have a question, how can one be a victim if one participates in what is going on? Also, if she viewed porn on the work computers and they know it, are they going to charge her like they did the others in porn-gate?

No bashing of anyone here. Just want to say Chrissy's a good person. And Mike Smith's never been anything but nice to me.

She deserved it. Pardon the pun, but she got screwed royally.

How exactly did the female officer get "screwed"? Did they transfer or suspend her or something?

How did they retalliate against the male officer that stood up for her?

FOLKS...LAWSUIT IS THE ONLY THING THAT THIS MAYOR AND DEPARTMENT UNDERSTANDS. THEY CONSTANTLY VIOLATE CONTRACT AND HARRASS OFFICERS WITHOUT ANY RETRIBUTION. IF WE START SUING FOR THIS HOSTILE WORK ENVIRONMENT THEN MAYBE THEY WOULD START TO UNDERSTAND.

Let's be honest here. She was out for the money. If she willingly participated in some office hyjinx, why did she file a law suit? Worthless and weak. Very sad.

It's a shame that someone like these two can cause so much trouble and discomfort to the others they accused. I know the officers that were accused. They are fine, decorated, well educated and devoted officers who have forgotten more about police work than Hagan or Smith will ever know. Shame on you Mayor Jerry and shame on you Chief White, but most of all, shame on you Krissy, shame on you!

Well I will bash someone on here and that person is Chrissy! If you did know the true story you would be appalled at her and Mike Smith. It was the others who got screwed. The others took the fall and were nothing more than sacrificial lambs for this department. Can you say extramarital affair? She was and is substandard and could do nothing to defend herself. She diverted attention away from herself and filed a frivolous lawsuit. She and Mike are a joke and so is this department for settling with them.

Robert white thinks he was setting an example? by letting pervs keep there job? wow yea that makes sense! These so called officers deal with the public. Who wants some sick sadistic officer showing up to take a rape report. These People shouldn't have peace officer jobs. This is why i keep my own protection in my house why contact a city department when its corrupted

As much as I do support LMPD I heard the chief defending the take home car policy. He told city council members that having you all drive your take home cars is helping keep crime down. One council member did not feel 30 and 60 dollars a month was enough for you all to pay with the cost of gas increasing. The council member said that she has seen police officers picking up thier children from school in their take home cars. I have to give credit for the chief for defending the policy.

It is hard to see police officers driving around in their cars to off duty places and having to pay $60.00 a month when i do my best to get to work and pay $80.00 to fill up my tank. I do work for the state police officers gets paid more than I do.I am not saying you don't deserve to be paid more but I am telling you that it is hard to see it in a positive manner when so many police officers are rude and have the opinion speed, park wher e they want because they can.I had one tell me he can do all that just because he can!!!

Maybe if police were not so arrogant people would understand more!!!! I do support take home cars. I do fill that you deserve that for not getting paid more!

If you know the people she accused, you know them to be great police officers and equally great people who are a friend to all. They were thrown to the wolves because this department was afraid to take a stand and do what is right.

No one ever talks about her getting involuntarily transferred or Smith quitting the department. Why did he quit? Maybe to keep from being punished? Use your head people. They are not victims. The other officers they accused are!

No one got screwed except the poor officers she accused of doing the same thing she was doing. Someone needs to go up to these guys and give them a pat on the back for being drug through the mud!
