I guess the Wilson's Liquor store shooting set a precedence. (Actually I am aware of several similar cases in the past, but that one is probably the most identifiable in recent years. ) Both cases involve young black males, both case have 2 subjects trying to rob and elderly person, Wilson was black and Jackson is white, Wilson was a store owner being robbed on the way to his car and Jackson was in his home with his wife. There is a huge difference between a home invasion/robbery and a street robbery.
