Mayor's office denies claim that city is building bomb shelter

I can't figure out what lying sack of S*it I like less, Jerry or "LooK at ME" Hawkins

I'm surprised that Doug Hawkins actually did something that Jerry doesn't like. Doug is generally considered to be one of Jerry's yes-men. I think Jerry will privately "correct" this problem and Doug will end up getting in front of the media and saying whatever the hell he's told to say.

Why is the city building a safe there?

What if some nut with a pair of bolt cutters decides to break into this thing and use whatever they find to contaminate a water supply and damage or destroy a key tower for public safety communications??? GREAT IDEA MAYOR, PUBLIC SAFETY SURE IS NUMBER ONE IN YOUR ADMINISTRATION!!

This mayor is making a mockery of this police department. I am ashamed to be employed here. I wish JCSO payed more cause I would go there where it's OK to police and not get in trouble for the little things. Those deputies who were involved in that shooting on 3rd and Tenny were back to work in a week, as far as I know our guys are still on leave. I talked to some deputies the other day and they said they are taking over the SRO program and the drug interdiction(on the street and at the airport). Hell while were at it Uncle Jer why don't we sell them the air unit so we can get some use out of it. It seems pretty obvious to me that Jerry is trying to downsize this department at any cost, I'm glad Aubrey is stepping in and picking up his slack. At this rate there wont be an LMPD in the next 5-10 years.

It sounds to me like anther way for the mayor to make money or save money, by making public safety last.

I VOTE TO HAVE HAWKINS AS MAYOR!!
