Police say they have plan for air support after sale of helicopter

We do NOT need another helicopter people!!!!!!!! Get over it!!!!

It's obvious who here rides a desk and kisses some Major's behind. Any good street cop knows you need a helicopter when a dangerous suspect bails or a kid goes missing. Too bad we have such a shortage of good street cops. This is what happens when the city promotes incompetent people for socializing with the higher ups. The idiots take over and crime goes up. Don't take it personally when I say that most people on this department are too stupid, incompetent or new to be trusted on the street in a dangerous situation.

I am a civilian that likes to read the forum and I have posted a few comments supporting all of you, but I have been amazed lately at how rude you all are to one another. Bashing, name calling. I understand you use this forum as a way to let off steam, however, it makes some of you seem very ugly to put it in a nice way. You wonder why so many people have ugly things to say about police officers. Why the public has a hard time feeling sorry for some of you .You can come across in a bad way. Sometimes the messages, on here make you out have pretty big egos. I know you carry alot of responsibility on your shoulders and you risk your life for others, but remember that your job is just as important as a Doctor, or teacher. I must admit you all have bad reputations as being cheaters, hot heads, doing as you please , parking where you want to and speeding. I have many officers who are friends and they are great. I respect you but becareful how you come across in the forum to others.I hope this has not offended anyone i was not my intention. I thought as someone who is not an officer needed to point it out to you .
