your off duty jobs probably didn't do anything for you. social secruity requires that you make a minimum amount of reported money each year. a few years ago it was 16,000 each year divided in quarters. don't take your statement as being correct. had you attended the social security meeting at the fop about 4 years ago given by the social secruity administration you would have learned the forms mailed to you are only accurate if you have met all requirements which you most likely have not. that's one of the problems, officers simply don't understand what hey have and don't have until it's to late.

it's easy to get the information, have the fop invite them back to the fop for informational meeting. i think you'll be very suprised.
