i read here about your benifits and how they are going away. how about this. all of you former lpd officers, did you know that prior to merger all lpd officers were covered by the city for disability insurance per the former lpd fop contract. after merger all lpd officers who DID NOT pay into social security have NO disabilty coverage what so ever, however all former county officers and new lmpd officers do have social security disability should they become disabled. for those of you that elected
