I am not a police officer but know people who are police officers in Louisville. Their jobs are extremely dangerous. I have tremendous respect for them and the jobs they do. They put their lives on the line every day. Many of the them have degrees and could make more money doing something else, less dangerous with better work hours. They stay in the job because it is what they love to do. The police do not make enough money today. Why consider taking money away from the people that keep us safe,
