You might want to get your facts straight. First, it is KLEPF fund. Second, the fund is not a tax on homeowners insurance but car insurance. Third, the agency you are proud to be a member of has fought for years to stay out of KLEPF. They would get the pay in the form of raises every year instead of joining KLEPF. But, now that there is no money in state government the KLEPF fund is the easiest way for you to get a raise. Once again, the State Police "I'm better than everyone else" mentality is
