FOP and Metro Government at odds over take home police cars

What about Mr. Major/LTC Troy Riggs, he gets on TV yesterday and basically said he doesn't see why anybody (police) would complain about the $60.00 for the use of a take home car. That sure is pretty good coming from a person who has had EVERYTHING handed to him thanks to "Aunt Becky" Jackson. I guess if we made $100,000.00+ a year $60.00 dollars would not seem like much. But if we made $100,000.00+ a year we would not need to work part time, would we? When the Mayor and the Chief has you by your wallet you wil do and say as you are told to.

Hold them to their claims - they KNOW that the other chopper may, in fact, never be able to be safely repaired. It crashed two frigging years ago, and it is STILL not repaired? The working chopper isn't working well if it is out that many days in a year. We are such a large city that we can't keep two choppers operational? Who do we call now? Will we still have the chopper for Thunder/Derby?

They did an open records request and when Emmington said it was only down 3-5 days for maintenance every quarter they fired back that last year it was down 87 days and then they went out to the airport and said "Look it isn't here now and has already been down for a week." They ran it as a public safety issue!

The helicopter? What is that? I never see that stupid thing flying around or doing any good. I vote to scrap the helicopter program and take the money and put it towards our raises. Emmingtons a whinning piece of ******** along with his stupid cronies under him. Why do you think Emmington is leaving? His feelings are hurt he wasn't promoted. Sorry Timmy, you got to stab people in the back harder next time!
