NO POLICE OFFICER IN AMERICA PAYS 1000.00 A MONTH. I will look into the numbers for you. Many are on the 80/20 and I would guess they pay 150.00 a month. Right now I pay $260.00 a year with a $42,000 base pay. If for example Seattle pays this formula, they pay $1950.00 a year. So they pay $1690.00 more a year, but they make $25,000 more a year. I said in previous post that I would gladly pay $1690.00 more a year for health insurance if they paid me $25,000 more a year.... Hell I said I would even pay $3000.00 more a year for health insurance if they paid us $25,000 more a year. I would still get a $22,000 raise.
