Governor announces proposed changes to Pension System

HELOOOOOOOO...what part of the cap on the COLA didn't you understand? This means when you retire you will only get yearly 1.5% COLAs. instead of the current rate which is governed by the Consumer Price Index. Once he gets his foot in the door on state workers inviolable contract do you think he is going to stop there? You are missing the point. We didn't cause this mess..they did by not funding it and it will affect everyone who is retired now and will retire. The other changes won't affect anyone in the system but are you willing to accept a 1.5% COLA instead of a 3.8%???
