More Officers, Less Helicopters & $60 is a Pittance

You might as well take every last pilot and supervisor and have them do other police work, because we are going to have ZERO helicopters. ZERO, not one, ZERO. The one helicopter we have left doesn't count until they get the thing flying again, if they even can. That's going to be a bit of a problem every time we are conducting a serach for a major suspect, a missing child, performing crowd control during derby, derby traffic plans, foot pursuits, car pursuits, assisting the 50 something other departments in surrounding counties, etc.....

I don't know, they operate 7-days a week 20 hours a day. you figure it out. One helicopter or two, it still needs to be staffed.
