More Officers, Less Helicopters & $60 is a Pittance

The next time you need a Police Officer or your wife is broken down on the expressway go ahead and be prepared to wait awhile because without Off Duty Officers stopping to help you have to wait for a beat car to clear and since it is on the bottom of the totem pole in priority it may be quite awhile.

Don't forget that the car sitting in a lot or down the street is a deterent. Don't forget that if we have it and use it the criminals will go somewhere else. Don't forget that if I have to pay 60 bucks a month every time I stop someone off duty or help a stranded motorist on MY OWN TIME I will be putting in for overtime. When every Officer does this because it is an unwritten understanding now that we have the cars in lieu of this, you can bet your bottom dollar that it will cost uncle jerry more in overtime every month if this were to take place.

You should take $60 and go invest in a 3rd grade english class.
