Are the police not tax payers as well? I think the whole point of offduty is because there are not officers on the street to provide the safety the community needs. So private businesses hire these officers to guarantee they'll get the attention that they need. If the city's budget is in such need of more money how come the hire ups(Mayor, Deputy Mayors, Chief of Police, and Chief's Staff)are not volunteering to take pay cuts? I don't understand why life has to be made so hard on the guys/gals who
