 What difference does that make dips**t?  If you are an officer are you not trained to look for some indicators of whether a person is armed, about to fight, about to flee, on drugs or alcohol, etc?  There use to be a list of driving behaviors that would indicated the probability a person may be driving under the influence.  Each behavior had a percentage and when combined with other or multiple offenses it became even more likely the driver was impaired.  I can remember see certain persons commit enough of these behaviors that I knew before I ever reached the driver's window they were drunk.  And guess what?  I was right.  Besides, review the KRS on deadly force.  It says what the officer felt at the time he used deadly force.  Mattingly had observed Newby making numerous indicators of being armed.  When he observed Newby reaching for what he thought was a weapon he shot.  And guess what again, genius?   There was a loaded .45 handgun right where Newby was reaching.  Mattingly did not see it but he knew it was there.  I  suppose Mattingly should have let Newby get out the gun first.  He would have gotten it out and been able to shoot it just as quickly.  Maybe shooting it at the same time Mattingly would be shooting.  maybe his rounds would have struck Mattingly.  You are a dumba**.!  If you are a cop..well go back to training.  If you are not well.. go back to reading Facebook.
