Most likely you are an Officer to post that comment, but one that is truly ininformed. In case you don't realize it the Fraternal Order of Police is a social club as well as a Police Union. there is more to being a member than jsut conducting business and negotiating contracts. There are a multitude of committees you can serve on,organizations you can volunteer to help etc... If you are and Officer you need to get involved and quit listening to sarcastic rhetoric about the lodge. Become a part of
