Every day you see Officers working off duty jobs like this in order to help pay the bills. It is a shame that anyone whould have died trying to help feed his family.
Be careful out there my Brothers and Sisters and remember that life comes at us hard whether we are on duty or off.

The one thing that has bothered me about this whole tragedy is that he wasn't even working within his legal jurisdiction. He couldn't give tickets there, he couldn't make an arrest, except a citizen's arrest. All he could do was run his lights, and even that is arguable, as he was outside his legal jursdiction when he was killed. I used t see him all over - doing traffic - and I was always thinking, he's going to run up into something and not be ready to handle it.
