Man found dead in west Louisville home is the Metro's latest...
I saw in the paper today that the Mayor is spending $300,000.00 on the ad acmpaign for "Possibility City". I see where the previous post had the "get a girl with a tattoo on her butt" and that is where that comes from.
How about some free slogans Mr. Mayor Come to Louisville the Possibility City, it is just possible you'll get blown away here.
Man found dead in west Louisville home is the Metro's latest...
LOUISVILLE (AP) -- Louisville is rolling out a promotional campaign aimed at getting people to consider the possibilities of Kentucky's largest city.
The campaign was 18 months in the making.
With the theme of "Possibility City," the campaign is targeting young professionals and businesses. It comes at a time of significant downtown development under way or on the horizon.
Officials say the city has committed 300-thousand dollars, with Greater Louisville Inc. and the Convention Visitors Bureau chipping in sums that haven't been decided. Officials say the ad agencies developing the campaign are donating much of their time, and the media may run the ads at low cost or as public-service spots.
Mayor Jerry Abramson says it's an attempt to tell more people about Louisville's special qualities.
The TV ads take shots at bigger cities such as Atlanta, Boston and Los Angeles. Each ad ends by saying Louisville doesn't have many big-city problems and is "a city of possibilities."

In looking at this we see Jerry foolishly spending money saying Louisville doesn't have "big City" problems. Funny I see we are well on our way to setting a record year for murders.
