The LMPD records state that the officer returned fire after Harlow shot his gun. This was conveyed to me by an LMPD officer who belongs to the same Division (7th). Was the officer telling the truth ? I don't know. Did the officer who shot Harlow tell the truth ? We don't know. Has the LMPD found out the truth ? We sure as heck don't know. And, that is the real issue, the unequivocal facts do not come out and we have seen too many and repeated lies by the LMPD to believe that the LMPD records are clean.

Harlow was trouble, had an extensive criminal history at 16, and was on home incarceration - another joke at taxpayers expense - and was/had been trying to break into somebody's house. Because of that it is "easier" to rationalize that he had it coming. If he had tried to break into my home I would have had no hesitation to kill him. Criminals must get the message that there are people in this city who will kill to protect themselves and their property. Those criminals have already gotten the message that the LMPD is not going to look for them AFTER the burglary or robbery or car theft. If they catch them in the act that's one thing, but try asking an LMPD officer to go after somebody who has broken into your home and the answer will be "we're too busy". Finally, I think it is not a wise thing for you to externalize your feelings about Officer Hodgkins, but I understand how you feel if you have better information and proof, which is what we all would like to have in this case and others.

All you little thugs are so tough behind those keyboards. To bad when we ran you out of the cemetery at 2am you didn't act as tough as you are now. All of you were "yes sir" and "no sir" and you had us way out numbered. Chumps.

Really???? Last thing he'll see, huh? It'll be interesting to see what kind of stones you have when they trace your blatent threat of a Police Officer back to you....Such monday-morning quarterbacking amazes me....WERE YOU THERE AT THE SCENE? I DIDN'T THINK SO....SO YOU DON'T HAVE THE FIRST CLUE OF WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED. YOU DON'T HAVE THE SLIGHTEST IDEA OF WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT...PROBABLY JUST MAD BECAUSE ONE OF YOUR LITTLE THUG FRIENDS GOT WHAT HE DESERVED. (You could also use a little grammer/spelling tudoring, since you stated that he "through" the gun vs. "throwing" the gun..Probably a true sign of your intellectual level, though...Just like your comment)

Internet tough guy. Wow, your little boyfriends must be so impressed. If you ever saw Ofc Hodgkins you would be saying nothing but "yes sir" and "no sir" like the little ******** that you are. Quit hiding behind a computer. Go down to headquarters and tell them what you are saying on here or put your name on your post if you are so tough.

I have no idea how many times the officer shot, but 12 shots tells me he did not empty his weapon. Further, I have no idea how many times Harlow was actually hit, either, I doubt 12 times.

I agree, no 16 year old deserves to die - until he tries to kill someone else. Then, all bets are off.
