The case with Evan Harlow is the only one I have "reliable" information about. He was a troubled young man, was on home incarceration at the time of his death, had removed the ankle strap, was attempting to burglarize a home, ran off, and shot first at the LMPD officer.

He was, according to the newspapers, trying to "turn his life around". He sure did!

He was, according to an LMPD officer, among possible persons of interest in connection with burglaries in the area, including ours. That may or may not be true, easy to say "he was on our list" after he was killed. His parents apparently were preventing the LMPD from questioning him about those burglaries, that LMPD "information" may or may not be factual, just what I was told by the LMPD officers. I can't trust anything I've heard from the LMPD.

Read today's papers (Sunday) and try to find some similarities between the Evan Harlow case and the two pieces of garbage who killed Miss Harper and are now pointing fingers at each other. They claim to be not guilty. Parents cannot just throw their hands up and say "we can't control him", yet harbor him in the home, provide money, transportation, and hope they don't get in more trouble. They will, they did, and we taxpayers are going to pay and pay for many years until they exhaust all their appeals.
