That couldn't have been said any better. I believe it is ultimately the judges fault that Peter is dead. If the judge(s) had not let that scumbag out of jail, which happened more than once, I have never doubted that Peter would be alive today. Remember this judges name when she is up for re-election and what she has done to Mr. Rees.

Rebecca, First let me say that I hope god watches over your family as surely pete is. I long used to not let these issues bother me, partialy because I had my job to do and they had thiers. Mostly because things like this will drive you crazy if you let it get under your skin. This time though as I was reading this article I thought: Who have been the perpetraiters of what seems to be rash of violent/deadly assaults on the police? Juvenile offenders, thats who. Sure, lets let him out so that really kill someone next time. Meanwhile, lets put one of the good guys in jail. Instead of just being removed from the bench, I would like to see a complicity or facilitation charge come out it. I wonder how careful you would be about letting someone out then?

Chilling. Just think the good judge may have just released the next cop killer. It is a crime to think that a criminal is released early because he wants to be. I want to win the powerball, Judge McDonald-Burkman can you order that up for me? At least I won't shoot anyone with my winnings.
